First, a very quick look at background information (software architecture design, modeling and patterns) would be taken, explaining the benefits of maintaining an architectural knowledge base. Then the vision and current status of our project will be described. We would tell about what the software can do at the moment and how we plan to improve it in the future. If desired, a nice looking recorded demo can be shown.
Stylebase for Eclipse is tool for sharing and reusing software architectural knowledge. Stylebase for Eclipse helps to maintain a knowledge base of software architectural models. The knowledge base can store architectural patterns, design patterns, reference architectures, macro and micro architectures et cetera. Each model is associated with HTML-formatted textual documentation and a number of searchable properties. Users can maintain both local and shared repository and download/upload models between the two.
