Alan Cox



Linux kernel
Alan Cox is a fellow at Red Hat Inc. Alan was an early developer and maintainer of the Linux networking code, one of the authors of the original Linux SMP and since then has at various times maintained various official and branch kernel releases. As well as free software development he is a member of the Foundation for Information Policy Research advisory committee and spends time trying to educate governments about free software and the public space.
