Havoc Pennington is largely implied in the redaction of Free Standards
for the desktop (http://www.freedesktop.org) and his presentation will
focus on those standards bringing interoperability between the different
desktop environments.
Havoc is also the Chair of the GNOME Foundation,
Board of Directors and a long-time contributor to the GNOME Project. He
maintains the GConf configuration library, the window manager Metacity
and currently spends most of his time hacking on the GTK+ GUI toolkit.
Havoc is the author of the book "GTK+/ GNOME Application Development"
and works as a developer for Red Hat, Inc. |
