| Coming from Belgium, Thomas works on GStreamer. He contributes core code, plug-ins, and build fixes. He also wound up doing the releases, even going so far as to write an RPM build system. His interest in GStreamer was mainly stirred because of all the amazing programs you could write with it, but ended up fixing GStreamer itself, like so many others.
During the day, Thomas is a radio broadcasting engineer. He's been able to write a few very useful programs using GStreamer that have been in use for over a year.
In the free time he has left, Thomas also works on his pet multimedia project (http://davedina.apestaart.org/), for which he hopes to use GStreamer as the complete multimedia backend.
