Bruno Coudoin
GCompris is a simple education game.
In french, GCompris is pronounce "j'ai compris" and means I Have Understood.

The basic goal is to teach to children starting at 3 how to use a mouse and
keybord. It is designed so that it is easy to implement new boards to
GCompris.

GCompris is implemented in a way that makes easy to add new board, each board
is a plugin. The limitation is that boards can only be implemented with the
Gnome Canvas Widget. Read the complete documentation.

If you want to add new boards, download and run GCompris, it comes with a
full documentation that describes the GCompris internal and a step by step
instruction on how to add boards. To give an idea of the amount of work, a
board is usually set in a single file of about 500 lines of C code.
