If you are a Gopher, the mention of the term Object-Oriented Programming is likely triggering for you because Object Oriented represents everything that Gophers love to hate, from over-complicated design to unpredictable execution. But could Go be in fact OO? Experienced or new to Go, this talk is aimed to help you understand where Go fits within the realm of programming languages. Ronna will take you on a journey through the history of OO and the choices that were made when designing Go so that you can decide for yourself if Go is or isn't OO.
