Daniel Silverstone
Daniel is a long-time free software advocate and contributor. Part of Debian in some way for 20 years, Daniel is also a Rust team member and likes to develop tooling to help others. Daniel's interest in software usually extends to things which enable others to achieve their ends - compilers, build tools, testing tools, etc.
For FOSDEM this year, Daniel is representing the Subplot project. Subplot is a tool to help people document their acceptance criteria and explain how they will be verified in a manner which is both human and machine readable. Daniel has worked on-and-off on tooling like Subplot for the past ten years.
