Jeff McAffer
Jeff McAffer is the Director of the Open Source Programs Office at Microsoft where he and the team are helping drive the company’s transition to an “open source engagement first” model. He was one of the founders of the Eclipse open source project where he was an active community leader, core contributor, book author and frequent conference speaker.
I'm a dev by training and vocation and have been absorbed in open source for the past 15+ years in roles from developer to project founder and lead to foundation board member to running the open source program for Microsoft. The past three years in particular have been dedicated to improving engagement across the industry and bringing communities together to solve problems.
