Hans de Goede
Hans is a FOSS developer and enthusiast with 20 years of experience, working for Red Hat for the last 10 years on a wide array of hardware enablement related projects. Hans currently is part of the desktop hardware enablement team at Red Hat, where his latest project is "flickerfree" boot, where the goal is to go from the firmware splashscreen/logo to the GUI in one fluid experience without any modesets (causing the screen to blank) or transitions to text-mode.
As a side project Hans has worked on hardware enablement for Allwinner ARM SoCs for a number of years. Since 1 year Hans has shifted his attention away from Allwinner to hardware enablement for Intel Bay- and Cherry-Trail SoCs.
Hans has given talks on various topics at ELC, KVM-forum, Linux-plumbers, XDS, Fosdem and other conferences.
