Felipe Erias is a SW engineer and interaction designer, working professionally with Free SW since 2007.

He works at Terranet AB, a Swedish R&D company on the field of mesh and proximity networks, using his design and engineering background to explore the possibilities of novel networking technologies by finding new use cases and bringing them to life, driving the development of the underlaying building blocks in the process. His most recent focus is on WiFi Aware on Android.

Previously, he created Free Software at Igalia from 2007 to 2014, developing applications and libraries for the Nokia GNU/Linux family of mobile devices and the GNOME desktop environment.

Felipe holds degrees in SW Engineering (University of Coruña, Spain), Human-Centred Interactive Technologies (University of York, UK), and Interaction Design (University of Malmö, Sweden).
