Theodore Vasiloudis

Theodore Vasiloudis is a Machine Learning researcher at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) and a PhD Candidate at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His main research interests include large-scale machine learning, graph processing and natural language processing. He is also a contributor to the machine learning library for Apache Flink, FlinkML.

Theodore Vasiloudis graduated from the school of Computer Science in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He continued with a Master's in Machine Learning (ML) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, during which he performed his thesis at Spotify, working on context-aware recommender systems.

During a 3 month internship at Data Artisans in Berlin he worked on designing and implementing the Machine Learning library for Apache Flink, FlinkML.

He is currently a researcher at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) and a PhD Candidate at KTH. He has been working on data mining techniques and graph processing, and his interests include among others distributed ML systems and algorithms and resource-efficient ML.
