I am a committer for Apache Flink and a PhD student in distributed computing at KTH Royal Institute of Technology focusing on distributed unbounded data processing. In more detail, I am mainly working on programming models for distributed stateful data streaming, flexible data discretisation, low-cost fault tolerant execution, high availability and data analytics task pipelining. I have contributed to various open source projects such as Apache Flink (Distributed Snapshots, State Management, Policy-based Windowing, DataStream Programming Model) and Apache Samoa (Flink Backend). Currently, I work on programming models for graph stream processing and machine learning on Apache Flink.
