We present the problem of synchronizing a system of distributed receivers by the means of GPS in order to use it to localize radio wave emissions. Due to the speed of light the synchronization has be accurate down to the nanoseconds. In a low cost system without the availability of atomic clocks at each anchor node, this is quite a challenge.
