Pau Garcia i Quiles

Pau holds an Engineering degree in Telecommunications and two years of Computer Science studies. He started off as a Systems Administrator and later on moved to Software Development, working as R+D+i Leader in Control Systems for the Industrial Automation and Defense fields for Schneider Electric, Navantia and other high-profile companies. He also advised the Spanish Navy on IT Security matters and made it move to Linux. Multicultural teams and unconventional solutions are his element. Pau is well known in the Open Source world and contributes to many projects and conferences as developer, mentor and/or speaker: KDE, Debian, Google Summer of Code, FOSDEM and more.
