Undelete rows from the binary log
a hacking session
- Track: MySQL and friends devroom
- Room: UA2.114 (Baudoux)
- Day: Sunday
- Start: 12:35
- End: 12:55
After the nice blog post of Scott Noyes, I decided to dig a bit more on the topic of undelete rows from the binary log.
This is a more detailed 101 session that explain how to find all events to change and show how to deal with that using easy python commands.
We will also see how to un-insert and un-update events.
See https://github.com/lefred/MyUndelete
It also covers different version of MySQL, from 5.5 to 5.6 and MariaDB.
