A retrospective on Rust 1.0!
The Rust programming language is just about to hit its 1.0 release. It's been a very long time coming, and in this talk, I'd like to give a retrospective on Rust's history, and show you how it came to be today. A teaser: Rust has lost many more features than it's actually gained!
