There are various cognitive radio models in literature which enable unlicensed users to exploit under-utilized licensed spectrum. This talk will explain the spectrum exploitation problem, some insight to the state of the art solutions keeping SDR implementations in mind. The presentation will also cover some of the practical interference learning schemes and how they can be used in these spectrum sharing scenarios.
