Simon Peter

Simon Peter is the founder of the klik project and a doctoral student.

Simon launched the klik project in 2004, looking for an easy way to download and use software without installation on various distributions. His view on Open Source development is strongly end-user centric: "To the developer, binaries without sources are worthless. To the user, sources without binaries are equally worthless." Simon's background is in Economics and Business Administration, with a special interest in High Tech and Computer Science. Currently he is a doctoral student. His computing experience dates back to 1986. Since then, he has been cycling through Macs, Windows PCs, and almost all major Linux distributions as his main work machines.
