Mark Wielaard
Mark is the maintainer and release manager of the GNU Classpath project.
Mark studied Theoretical Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam working on functional and logic programming languages.
In the past he has worked on GNUJSP and servlet libraries and currently helps with the GNU Compiler for the java programming language (GCJ) and kaffe projects.
In 2000 he joined GNU Classpath and since 2003 he is the GNU maintainer and release manager of that project. Mark also wrote the The Hunting of the Snark project, an implementation of the BitTorrent protocol with GCJ and the java-gnome bindings.
He loves meeting people who have integrated GNU Classpath in new and wonderful ways. He currently lives in Enschede, the Netherlands and is employed by Red Hat as Senior Software Engineer to work on the Frysk project.
