KOffice 2.0 is going to be released soon. This talk will start with an overview of the main features this new release will have (such as the lightweight Flake objects, and color management through Pigment), and will then will go into some more detail about the use of ODF in KOffice.
Most of the [[http:koffice.kde.org KOffice Suite] has been rewritten or at least refactored since the 1.6 series. For example, we introduced the Flake framework, enabling easy sharing of components such as vector drawings and text shapes throughout the whole range of [[http://koffice.kde.org KOffice applications].
The aim of this talk is to discover how this new suite is organized, the main changes, and its relation with ODF.
