Workflow In Java
JBoss jBPM is an open source platform that supports workflow, business process management, and service orchestration.
Though BPEL has a big brand name associated to BPM, people start to realize that it is not a silver bullet. Recently two process component models have taken a different point of view. Multiple process languages are taken as the goal and process component models are frameworks on which multiple languages can be build.
We'll look at some examples of the Process Virtual Machine and explain how this technology can be used as the basis for workflow, BPM and orchestration. Attending this talk will give a good overview of the complete JBoss jBPM project.
