Status update on software patents in Europe.
Pieter Hintjens, past president of the FFII will give us an update on the current state of things regarding software patents in Europe.
He'll speak about the politicization of open standards and software patents, and where we stand in the two wars we're fighting, one at the international level (OOXML hits ISO) and one in Europe (software patents).
