Ekaterina Fedotova
Ekaterina Fedotova is one of the core developers of PyPSA-Earth and leader of the climate track. She has received a doctoral degree in Thermal Physics and Applied Thermodynamics with a thesis focused on transfer processes inside a solid oxide fuel cell. She has been working as a researcher studying energy-climate nexus for regional power systems for about five years. In 2021, she has joined PyPSA-Earth initiative, initially focused on Africa, and get involved as an active contributor. She has collaborated as researcher and data scientists with academia and industry, and now is working as energy systems modeling lead in Open Energy Transition Company.
