Founded in 2009, FOSSASIA has developed a wide-range of open source projects from software to hardware, organized developer events and run coding programs. We want to provide access to open technologies and knowledge that enable people to build solutions according to their own ideas and needs. It is our mission to foster the free and open source movement in Asia and sustain the FOSS ecosystem.

    FOSSASIA in 2021

    Some highlights of our work:

    • Video Integration on Eventyay - Eventyay is an open source event management solution that comes with a variety of features including Call for Speakers, Scheduling, Registration, Payment Gateways, Video Integration (Jitsi, BigBlueButton, custom video platform) and more. Support us, support open source by using Eventyay for your event, report bugs, or even fix them yourself :)
    • Release of PSlab Python 2.0 - Big thank to Alexander Bessman for his hard work. This version is also available on PyPI
    • Visdom project joined FOSSASIA organization - Visdom, a data visualization tool, was transitioned from Facebook AI Research to FOSSASIA and relicensed to the Apache License 2.0
