After working as an integration expert for 15 years and having earned a dual degree in Information Technology and an MBA, I founded pi-lar GmbH in 2014. Today at pi-lar GmbH we are an international, multi-faceted team of four. Alongside a mutual love for detail we stand for our collectively defined (corporate) values: innovation, reliability, transparency, and social responsibility. Examples of how we stand by these values are: - development of the first decentralized open-source solution for a secure IoT, - delivering project goals within demanding time and budget constraints - open communication internally and externally (i.e. transparent salaries, feedback to customers) - working with responsible partners (i.e. Ethikbank) and declining unethical projects

Do you remember what you liked doing best as a child? Well, I‘ve always had a thing for computers and engineering. My childhood companions were my father's Apple IIe and lego tech. Over the years I pursued these interests and turned them into a professional career with a special interest in IoT solutions. I have found that all current (IoT) systems increase complexity, costs and risk while reducing business agility. As an eternal optimist and electric monk with a focus on innovation I believe we need IoT solutions that guarantee security and stability.
