Peter Jonas
As Project Manager for OpenScore, Peter ran a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2017 to launch the new crowdsourced sheet music transcription platform in partnership with MuseScore and IMSLP. Since then he has been hard at work coordinating the transcription effort, but has also found time to develop MuseScore's accessibility features in partnership with RNIB, including improving screen reader support for users who are blind or partially sighted.
He has been contributing to open source projects since 2013, including the popular sheet music editor MuseScore and the AppImage universal Linux packaging format. He is currently Project Manager for OpenScore, a new initiative to digitise classical music. Peter graduated from the University of St Andrews with a Master's degree in Physics (2015), and one in Computer Science (2016).
