Daniel Germanus

Daniel had his first interactions with programming languages back in 1983 using his brother's Commodore C64 computer. Nowadays, he focusses on software reliability, scalable machine learning, and is an open-source software enthusiast. Daniel got a Ph.D. degree in computer science from Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany. During daytime, he is employed at Deutsche Bahn where he enables colleagues and customers between the poles of open data, open source and the international data science community. Off the job Daniel likes travelling, barbecuing, IoT sensors, and he plays golf.
