My official title is Developer Advocate, and in practice I spend my time trying to make it easier for programmers to learn and use Go.

Speakers Wed, 02 Feb 2011 08:53:09 +0000 florisla 134 at http://archive.fosdem.org/2011 Last speaker interviews http://archive.fosdem.org/2011/news/last-speaker-interviews-0
To finish our collection of informative interviews with the FOSDEM 2011 main track speakers, we proudly present:

Manik Surtani (Infinispan)

David Chisnall (Objective-C)

Nicolas Spiegelberg (Facebook Messages)

Chris Hofmann (Mozilla Firefox)

Jos van den Oever (WebODF)

Michael Meeks (LibreOffice)

Chris Lattner (LLVM)

Update: the last installment was just added as well:

Andrew Gerrand (Go)

See you at FOSDEM this weekend!

http://archive.fosdem.org/2011/news/last-speaker-interviews-0#comments Speakers Tue, 01 Feb 2011 10:22:17 +0000 koen 132 at http://archive.fosdem.org/2011 Interview: Chris Lattner http://archive.fosdem.org/2011/interview/chris-lattner
Chris Lattner will give a talk about "LLVM and Clang" at FOSDEM 2011.

Speakers Tue, 01 Feb 2011 10:14:30 +0000 koen 131 at http://archive.fosdem.org/2011 Interview: Michael Meeks http://archive.fosdem.org/2011/interview/michael-meeks
Michael Meeks will give a talk about "Liberating Open Office Development " at FOSDEM 2011.

Speakers Tue, 01 Feb 2011 09:42:41 +0000 koen 130 at http://archive.fosdem.org/2011 Interview: Jos van den Oever http://archive.fosdem.org/2011/interview/jos-van-den-oever
Jos van den Oever will give a talk about "WebODF: an office suite built on browser technology" at FOSDEM 2011.

Could you briefly introduce yourself?

My background is in molecular sciences and bioinformatics, however I've been a long time proponent of open standards and a Linux and Free Software user.
